Description: You are buying an A4 modern print of the original pattern, not the finished item. This early 50's pattern is beautiful and is for a lady's cardigan with a short cap sleeve, and I particularly like the 'freedom 0f movement' of the cap sleeve and the neatly fitted waist and collar. Instructions are for three sizes that is to fit a 33, 34½ and 36 inch bust, and was originally worked in Emu Super Botany Crepe on No.12 needles. Information regards this yarn is sparse, but I have been informed by a knitting friend it would be similar to a 'tight twisted' modern 4-ply. So you may wish to try a modern 4-ply, as vintage yarns were heavier than modern, however, do work a tension square first to see if a change of needles is necessary.
