It is in our bonsai soil mix (Red Lava, Black Lava, Hyuga Pumice, and Akadama). The tree pictured is the tree you will receive but will change in appearance depending on the season of your purchase. At the time of these photos (Spring 2024) this tree was around 18 inches in height from the soil to the top of the tree with a 2 inch trunk. The pot is 12.5 inches wide. Trident Maples like a sunny spot when weather is nice, will do better with some shade for protection during the hottest days of the summer months. They like a lot of water, especially when they are in their growing season but do not like to be soggy. We make sure that they have perfect drainage with our soil.
