Description: Up for sale is a very rare and desirable 1932 J Chein POPEYE boxer wind up toy. This is the Overhead Punching speed bag version, which is much harder to find. It stands approximately 11” tall by 4” square base. This is a USA made toy. These do not come up for sale very often and when they do they are usually missing the pipe or bag and are not working. This item does wind up and with the lift of an arm will box. Celluloid bag does not have any dents but is slightly coming apart around the seam (see pics). Also, the string looks to be a replacement. All else is original and in great condition. Tin graphics do have some wear, small amount of rust and paint fading. International shipping available through eBay’s international service.
