Description: LYSE FLEURY handmade made pottery trinket box, made in Canada, artist signed. Lyse Fleury is an award winning artist/ceramist. This box is stunning. It has a very ethereal, almost semi translucent quality to it. Matte finish. Two birds on the top are a copper color and appear to be flying on storm clouds. The effect is achieved by firing the piece twice. The second firing is done outside. The kiln is filled with sawdust and the smoke generated penetrates the clay leaving the mysterious and beautiful patterns. Approximately 3 inches tall, 4 inch diameter.
