ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA 1981 TIME PROMOTIONAL JET STANDUP W/ LP CARD ELO LYNNE

Description: RARE ELO 1981 ORIGINAL "TIME" U.S PROMOTIONAL STANDEE WITH RARE LP BIN DIVIDER STILL ATTACHED ! Incredibly rare original 1981 promotional Time LP counter standee/wall hanger display or LP bin divider made only in the U.S.This was made by Jet records in 1981 to promote ELO's new release "Time"This particular display is UNUSED and made to be used as a counter standee (you can see the UNUSED pull out cardboard leg on the back) or it could have been used to hang on the wall of your record store OR is still has attached to the bottom of the display the LP record bin divider. When record stores were in just about every shopping center in the U.S. back in the 70's and 80's the LP records were sold in bins with dividers cards which listed the different artist name. This RARE display has the record bin divider still attached to the bottom. Most of the bottoms were removed from the promoters because the part above the bin divider was nearly 2 feet tall and covered up the artist behind the Electric Light Orchestra so most stores would use it as a counter display so in most cases the bottom part was removed before it left the promotional department and even arrived at the record store and was used as a counter standup.. I have only had a few of this display that still had the bin divider attached to the bottom and this one is VERY NICE. Look at the close up pictures for details. This is unused, undisplayed, unfaded condition.Where the ELO logo is at the top, this can be pulled out about 1" and while hanging or sitting this would give the display a 3-D look as the ELO logo would be sitting out and off the planet. You can see that the ELO has not been pulled away from the display. The display measures nearly 34" tall and 20" wideThis is a fantastic and nice size ELO display and nearly impossible to find in unused condition. And even more rare with the divider on the bottom. The Condition is very nice, unused and unfaded, with only a small dent at the bottom of the display in the lower white section, but it does not effect the display in any way..please see pictures for close up of the condition.I originally had about 50 of these displays which I acquired back in the early 80's, these came directly from a source in the promotional department, which is why they have remained unused for so many years. Of the 50 only a few had the LP divider still attached.
