This item is perfect for competitive swimming (including triathlons) or recreational/ leisure swimming. Also I would like to point out that the elastic bands around the arms and legs that I have shown images of, tend to tear or break once worn. I noticed this on the sample swimsuit that the model tried on. This must be a defect that ADIDAS did not catch while manufacturing this item. BUT this does not alter the purpose or function of the swimsuit at all and is not noticeable on the exterior of the swimsuit.
