Description: This is s set of 2 snap caps in 45-70 Government. These snap caps are loaded with a lead 405 grain RN. These are snap caps, that contain no powder, or primers, but they will chamber, look and feel just like they should. They cannot fire, nor can they ever be made to fire. Unlike plastic or one-piece metal snap caps, these brass snap caps look and feel right, and they won't flake off small pieces. These are new commercial casings that have been chemically and mechanically cleaned, sized, then drilled out, and had the primer pocket plugged, and then a bullet seated and crimped. You can visually tell they are inert, as the primer pocket is plugged with a red poly. These snap caps will also rattle when shaken. The brass manufacture used to make these caps may vary from those shown in the pictures.
